Supporting our Key Workers
CHSG continue to support local carers and key workers
Staff from our Design Technology Department are still very busy manufacturing Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) - fabricating full face masks and stitching scrubs for local care homes.
We have delivered full face masks to Eversfield House, Gracewell Healthcare, Sutton Court Care Home, Ryelands, Lavender Oaks Care Home, Chegworth Nursing Home, Mencap Sutton, Fieldway Care Home and Carshalton Nursing Home to name but a few!
We have taken delivery of further resources, thanks to all the fantastic donations from parents, friends and staff, so that we can continue with the fabrication of more masks.
Staff in our Technology Department are also stitching scrubs for our NHS Heroes.
But, we want to do more!
We want to progress our support by engaging with local charities who in turn are supporting our carers and key workers. We are working hard to ensure all the money raised so far, £2,373, is put to the best use to help as many people as possible.
If you think you can help us with a donation to our charity fund, however big or small, which will enable us to help more local carers and key workers, please click on the link below.
We have received some wonderful responses from our local care homes, some of which are posted below.
On behalf of the Manger, Arthur Tanare, and the staff at Belmont House, I would like to pass on our grateful thanks for the face shields that you very kindly delivered to us last week.
As you can imagine, supply of all PPE equipment is very hard to come by, especially shields, so again many thanks.
Wishing you and your staff all the very best in these trying times.
Wendy, Belmont House Care Home
