     The school food service is provided by Cucina, who provide hot and cold food for breakfast, break and lunch in the Canteen and Snack Shack. The Sixth Form Common Room provides food throughout the day for our sixth form. As well as the indoor spaces, students have access to covered outdoor eating areas and picnic benches.

    All venues operate a cashless catering system, keeping queues to a minimum. Payment can be made online via Parent Pay, please follow the link:

    There is a maximum daily spend limit of £7.00, however an average daily spend is estimated at £3 per day. Please contact the School Office office@chsg.org.uk should you wish to apply a different daily limit to your daughter’s account.

    Free school meals

    Free school meals can be applied for your child if they attend any state-funded school, and you meet the eligibility criteria. The government pays schools an amount a year for each student registered as entitled to free school meals. This money can benefit students with, for example, funding new equipment or maybe new teaching staff.
