Carshalton High School for Girls

Carshalton High School for Girls

Carshalton High School for Girls is a highly successful school, judged by Ofsted in January 2023 as ‘Good’ in all categories.

Carshalton High School for Girls is committed to ensuring the welfare and safety of all our students in school and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

We believe that students have a right to learn in a supportive, caring and safe environment, which includes the right to protection from all types of abuse, where staff are vigilant for signs of any student in distress and are confident about applying the processes to avert and alleviate any such problems. We have a Safeguarding Policy and robust procedures in place.  The Safeguarding Policy can be viewed under the About Us/Policies section of this website. All staff (including supply staff, volunteers and Governors) must ensure that they are aware of these procedures.

Safeguarding is about ensuring that everyone is safe from harm - safe from bullying, safe from people who could abuse, safe from discrimination or harassment - and that we all feel safe in our environment.

Anyone concerned about the safety or wellbeing of a CHSG student, should contact one of the school's Safeguarding Team:
