World Environment Day Events

Wednesday the 11th of June
To celebrate World Environment Day, on Wednesday the 11th of June, the Year 7 Geography Society have planned a day full of events.
Money raised through these events will go towards the school adopting an endangered snow leopard through the WWF charity. This will help protect the species and support the WWF's work in conservation schemes.
Money will also go to the Pack for a Purpose charity, which will provide school supplies to schools in South Africa.
Craft Sale
The Geography Society will be setting up a craft sale, selling handmade goods. This includes origami, bracelets, notelets and bookmarks. Prices start from 10p up to £1.50.
There will also be a station where students can make their own bracelets during the lunchtime break. This will be £1 to take part in.
Bake Sale
The Society will also be running a bake sale on the day during break and lunch times outside the Sixth Form block.
Prices will range from £1 and upwards.
We would love it if you could help us by donating cakes/ bakes!
Please bring in any donations on Wednesday the 11th of June before AM tutor time to the sixth form common room and label these with your form group.
If you are donating homemade items, please ensure to label the product with all ingredients used.
House points will go to the house which brings in the most donations!
Raffle
To win your own snow leopard soft toy, we will be holding a raffle. Tickets will be £1 and there will also be more soft toys to be won.
