Book Pixies, whose motto is ‘Take me, Read me, Leave me’, want everyone to read. You can find clues to where and when book drops will be happening on Carshalton High School for Girls’ LRC social media pages, on Twitter and Instagram and also here on the school's website and social media.

The students walked to St Helier Hospital via Rushy Meadows and Tweeddale Primary schools, leaving books for their pupils to find. They carried on to Queen Mary's ward at St Helier Hospital where some of the girls went to the day room and some stayed in the outpatients waiting room. They shared books with some of the inpatients and children waiting for their appointments which was thoroughly enjoyed by all!  One parent subsequently wrote to our Headteacher, Mrs Jones, complimenting the girls on their efforts and the school on this project. This meeting with our students made a real difference to her daughter on the day.
