Carshalton High School for Girls is excellent because of the environment it establishes for its students. It was indeed so perfect, to the extent that it felt like home. The staff and students were always there for me when I required support and I'm always going to be certain that even after leaving I can always rely upon CHSG.

Hannah

University: Queens, Belfast

Course: International Relations and Politics

My name is Hannah. I studied Law, Politics and Psychology at CHSG and I'm now currently at Queens University Belfast studying International Relations and Politics in Northern Ireland. I am honestly so grateful for all the work that all my teachers and staff put in to help me get through the two years of sixth form. If I needed extra work I was able to get it, if I needed one on one time, it was always available, everyone was always more than happy to help and even just for a chit-chat, it really all helps. What I found extremely beneficial was having free periods where you could just relax and talk to people. It was a great way to de-stress and talk about the lesson and pick up notes you might've missed. Overall, the seven years I spent at CHSG were some of the best times, I've made friends for life and memories I can never forget.

Secondary and Sixth Form life is something to cherish and enjoy. I am thankful to all my past teachers who have helped and encouraged me on how to get to this stage in my life. CHSG gave me a place to create and enjoy memories that I will cherish.
I am so grateful to have been a part of this school.

Senior Prefect 2020-2021

Wareesha

University: Kent & Medway Medical School

Course: Medicine

I attended Carshalton High School for Girls from 2014 to 2021. After completing my GCSEs I studied Biology, Chemistry and Psychology at A Level and thoroughly enjoyed by time in CHSG Sixth Form. I am currently studying Medicine at the University of Kent & Medway Medical School.
The staff at CHSG were incredibly supportive and always had their door open whenever I needed any form of support. Despite attending Sixth Form during two lockdowns, I still felt that I could always reach out to my teachers and Head of Year, Miss Bevan, and knew that they would do everything they could to help. My time at CHSG is something I will always look back upon with fondness as I truly felt that the teachers cared about us, not only as students but also as people, which I believe is a really important factor for a school
