Home LFD Testing

The asymptomatic Home Testing programme will commence for Year 7 students, and continue for all other year groups who have previously consented, during the week commencing 13th September.

Year 7 students will receive their kits on Friday 10th September.  In preparation for this there will be 3 stages:

  • Parents/Carers give consent to opt-in and receive the Home Testing kits. Please read the agreement carefully and ensure you understand what is expected of you and your daughter as well as the privacy policy and use of data. The portal for consent will close at 9pm on Thursday 9th September. We have an enormous administrative and logistical operation to put into place to ensure students receive the kits, so it is important that we stick to this deadline.  We will not accept any other requests after 4pm on Thursday.
  • Guidance on how to use the tests and how to load results will be sent to parents/carers of those who have given consent and opt-in to receive the tests.  We will be using a programme called TestRegister to upload results and assist us with the vast amounts of data that will be created. You will need to provide your email address to TestRegister and confirm you have read their privacy policy prior to submitting your test. Full guidance on how to use TestRegister, administer the test and report your results will be sent on Friday. There will be no further correspondence or action needed from those who do not opt-in.
  • The Home testing programme begins on Sunday 12th September for Year 7 students. Students will test twice per week (Sunday and Wednesday) and upload results to TestRegister.
