Summer Activities Guide
To help parents keep children engaged, active, and learning over the summer, we’ve put together a Summer Activities Guide that includes fun, low-cost, and educational activities that align with subject areas and can be easily done at home or outdoors.
Volunteer Centre Sutton youth participation resources
As the summer approaches, our young people deserve a well-earned rest from their studies and will have a bit more time to connect with family and friends, which we actively encourage. Connecting with others on a wider scale through volunteering might also be of interest to them and so please see the posters attached for opportunities to get involved in wider community events and charity events. A number of our Year 9 students recently delivered a speech to the Youth Board, of which we are immensely proud of them, and some may be considering applying to be Young Commissioners and so please do discuss the poster with your child to see if they would like to be involved in Youth Participation.
