Do you want to take a private instrumental lesson at Carshalton High School for Girls?

We have a dedicated team of instrumental and vocal teachers who will teach you your chosen instrument or give you vocal training within your school timetable. These lessons are provided by The Surrey Sound of Music. 

We currently offer lessons in the following instruments:

• Flute
• Clarinet
• Oboe
• Saxophone
• Trumpet
• Trombone
• Violin
• Cello
• Drum Kit
• Guitar (Electric, Bass and Acoustic)
• Ukulele
• Piano
• Voice (Classical, Popular and Musical Theatre)

Individual instrumental lessons last 30 minutes and happen on a rotating timetable within the school day. They cost £18 per lesson. There is also the option for students to have paired lessons at a cost of £11 per student per lesson. 

If your child is in receipt of pupil premium funding, they are eligible for subsidised music lessons. The music department are very keen that students take up this funding. If you are interested in this opportunity, please email egravenor@carshaltongirls.org.uk to find out more.
