  • CHSG Students Shine at Borough Cross-Country Competition

Eighteen CHSG students proudly represented the school at the annual Borough Cross-Country Competition, held at Sutton Grammar School playing fields on Wednesday 4 November.

The team demonstrated outstanding determination, resilience and sisterhood throughout the event, encouraging and supporting one another as they tackled challenging races against competitors from across the borough. Their commitment and positive attitude were a credit to the school.

We are especially delighted to celebrate the achievements of the students who secured a place in the top 15, earning qualification for the upcoming Pathway Cross Country events:

    • Summer-Lilly A – 3rd place
    • Ruth H – 4th place
    • Eilidh P – 5th place
    • Matilda G – 6th place
    • Kristina N – 12th place
    • Frances H – 14th place

A particular congratulations goes to Summer-Lilly and Ruth for their outstanding podium and top-four finishes.

We would also like to thank our Sixth Form students, Eva W, Sienna P and Sophie J, who supported the team throughout the competition. Their encouragement, assistance and help with capturing valuable GCSE footage contributed greatly to the success of the day.

Well done to all students who took part. Your effort, resilience and support for one another made the school incredibly proud, and we look forward to hearing about the success of those progressing to the Pathway Cross Country events.
