Last Friday, 40 of our Year 9 students had the incredible opportunity to visit BT Headquarters in Aldgate East alongside Mrs Hrouda, Miss Fulton and Mr O'Sullivan.
The day focused on what it means to be "Work Ready", with workshops led by professionals from BT and The Metropolitan Police. Students explored the importance of both technical skills and essential employability skills such as communication, teamwork and oracy – all highly valued by employers.
Highlights of the day included:
A special shout-out to Shakira U (9G3) for bravely volunteering to test some of the exciting AI technology on display!
Our students were praised by event organisers for their enthusiasm, engagement and respectful behaviour throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of how they represented the school.
