Pride Month at CHSG
Celebrating Pride Month 2024
This year we've organised a range of events and activities to support and celebrate pride month. You may have already seen the amazing yarn bombs and decorations around the school. On Friday subject teachers will be spotlighting influential LGBTQ+ figures. See below how you can take part in all our events and activities.
Competition
Submit a creative entry – film, artwork, poem, short story, song or film – on the theme “This is me” to Mrs Durrett (via your tutor) by 27th June for your chance to win a set of Heartstopper books.
Movie time
Join us for an LGBTQ+ themed movie on Wednesday 26th June after school in the hall. The movie will be Nimona.
£1 a ticket – all welcome but you must have a ticket to enter. Sign up via Parent Pay coming soon.
Pride ribbons
Collect your ribbons throughout the week 3rd – 7th June if you’d like to wear a Pride ribbon.
