Nerves quickly turned to smiles this morning as students came in with their parents to receive and celebrate their results, in another very pleasing year for A-levels and BTECs.

Students achieved our highest percentage of A*-C grades at A level in recent years. Achievement in our BTECs was again exceptional.

We are especially pleased with our positive (provisional) Subject Value Added score of +0.25, indicating student performance across subjects at a quarter of a grade higher than the national average for students with the same GCSE scores.

These are truly impressive results and testament to the quality of the teaching at Carshalton Girls, as well as the hard work and diligence shown by our departing Year 13s. We send our best wishes to them all as they now go about preparing for their exciting next steps.
