We are thrilled to announce the GRAND OPENING of our brand-new CHSG Community Library on Wednesday 7th January—a space designed to inspire, empower, and celebrate the joy of reading across our school community.

To mark this special occasion, we are honoured to welcome Stephen Kelman, award-winning author of Pigeon English, who will officially open the library in partnership with our English Department. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to meet a renowned writer and ignite their own passion for stories and creativity.

Our new library will be run by dedicated student volunteers and will be open in the Careers Centre (A30) during break, lunch, and after school. Students are warmly invited to explore the space, discover new books, and become part of a growing reading community.

We can’t wait to open the doors and celebrate this exciting new chapter with you!
