Trampolining

During November, the trampolining team competed in the Glenthorne Trampoline competition. Everyone tried their best and they achieved some amazing results. Students had to compete using our own voluntary routine. There was a lot of hard work and effort put into every training session and in the end it all paid off!

The trampolinists were:

Key Stage 3

Beatrice (7PK2), Madison (7RW2), Tiare (7RD1),

Jessica C (7HL1), Millie H (7PK1) and Katelynn (8RD2)

Key Stage 4

Jess (11HL2), Amy (10PK1), Millie (11RW1),

Annike (10PK1), Maise (10PK2) and Katey (11HL1)

The results for the Year 7 competition were as follows:

1st Place – Beatrice (7PK2)

2nd Place – Madison (7RW2)

3rd Place – Tiare (7RD1)

The results in the GCSE competition were the following:

1st Place – Jess (11HL2)

2nd Place - Amy (10PK1) and Millie (11RW1)

Well done to all the student who took part in this event you all did brilliantly.

London Regional Trampolining Competition 2018

On Sunday 25th November 12 of our students went to London to compete in the London regional trampolining competition. The competition was a huge success, everyone walked away with a big smile and had a great time. In the run up to this competition everyone trained really hard to make sure their routines were competition ready and reaped the rewards of that preparation on the day.

The Under 13s team placed first which means they qualified for the next round.

Individually, Maddison (8RD2) qualified for the next round as she came first overall. All the girls scored very high and all placed in the top 10 out of 46 girls competing

The Trampolinists were:

Maddison (8RD2), Harriet (8RW2) Beatrice (7PK2) and Madison (7RW2)

The Under 15s team finished in third place. Unfortunately, they just missed out on getting through to the next round as only the top two teams qualify. Even so the team still left with smiles on their faces.

The Trampolinists were:

Maisie (10PK2), Keeleigh (10PL2)

Elise (9HL1) and Madison (9HL1)

The Under 19s team performed brilliantly and came first and made it to the next round.

Abby placed third individually which means she also made it to the next round.

The Trampolinists were:

Jess (11HL2), Millie (11RW1)

Abby (11RW1) and Sara (13BPE)

A big well done to all the students who competed in the competition. Thank you to all the students for their hard work and dedication to team practices.

Good luck to all of the girls competing in the final round of the London trampolining competition!
