“We woke up early that morning knowing that we had a long journey ahead of us. Once we had arrived a student ambassador from the University took us on a tour around the site. It was so much fun, they had all of the sports facilities you could possibly think of: cricket grounds with grass that grew automatically and swimming pools in which the floors sank to make the pool deeper.

When the ambassador had shown us around the whole site we had lunch and started three new activities: making our own sports drinks, circuit training and a game of dodge ball. All of the activities were really exciting, did you know that there are 27 spoons of sugar in Lucozade?

Everyone who went on the trip really enjoyed the visit and I am interested in going there in the future.”

“This trip was an amazing opportunity to have a look around a university I would love to go to. We had a tour of all the sports facilities and also all the student communities.

While we were there, we also talked about the nutrients in food and made our own Lucozade! We had the chance to test out our fitness using advanced technology that we wouldn’t get to use otherwise. Also, we played dodge ball in their massive sports hall with some of the students that study there. Overall it was an amazing trip for us all and an incredible opportunity.”
