Year 11 Results Day

This year our GCSE results day will take place on Thursday 12th August.

We want to celebrate with our students and be able to congratulate them face to face on their achievements and so would like to invite them in to school to collect their results.  Although the examinations were slightly different this year, the work the students have put into studying the GCSE courses and completing assessments must be commended.

Students will be able to come on site between 9am and 10am via the PE gate (football gate via Coulsdon Avenue).  Unfortunately, we currently cannot allow parents to accompany their daughters onto the premises, but they are welcome to wait in the neighbouring park.  We will monitor the situation and let you know via the website on the Tuesday of that week should the situation have changed.  If any student has any symptoms of COVID-19 then she must not attend and if she tests positive for COVID-19 after she has been in school for results day, then please notify us immediately.

On the Day

When students receive their results envelope, there will be a letter enclosed indicating whether they have been awarded a place at CHSG Sixth Form.  If all the option choices remain the same then they should tick, sign and gain a confirmation signature from one of the Sixth Form team to secure their place.  If a student wishes to take up their place with us but has decided to change their subjects, they just need to indicate their new subject choices on the letter and have this signed and confirmed with a member of the Sixth Form Team.  However, should students not have secured a place in our Sixth Form we will have a Careers Advisor on site should she need some advice on her next steps.

Leavers' Hoodies and Yearbooks

Miss Ishola will be available in the canteen to distribute remaining leavers' hooded tops and year books.  All students must exit out of the PE gate (football gate).

What happens if a student cannot attend on the day?

We really look forward to seeing your daughter on the 12th August but should you know in advance that she will not be available then please email Mrs Baker at  and we can arrange to have the results emailed.
