Also stated in the letter were the new arrangements for fire drills. We have undertaken a practice which was overseen by the Corporate Health and Safety at the London Borough of Sutton.  We were very pleased with the way this went and will be carrying on with this process from now on.

Updates will be given via the website.
Exam Season
We have now moved into the exam season and Year 11 and Year 12 have been very busy with revision sessions and sitting their public exams.  Year 13 begin their public exams during week commencing 18th May.  However, it is not just Year 11 and the Sixth Form involved, Year 10 have their Core Science exam this week and will have further exams in week beginning 22nd June.  Year 9 have their annual exams this week and Years 7 and 8 have exam week beginning on 15th June.

All examinations are crucial and parents are asked to ensure that their daughters are fully prepared by making sure they are doing a programme of revision in advance at home and have a full range of equipment on the exam days.

We wish all the students well in their exams, especially those sitting public examinations.
Celebrations
We had a lovely celebration assembly with Year 11 before they moved to their examination timetable.  It was a look back at the last 5 years with many very happy memories.  Year 13 have a leaver’s celebration assembly on Friday followed by a picnic.

We will then celebrate with both year groups at their Proms in June – something to really look forward to!
Mobile Phone Policy
Mr Conduit-Smith, Deputy Headteacher, will be writing to all parents shortly with regard to the mobile phone policy.  We are reviewing this policy and will be asking for feedback and comments.
Uniform
Our uniform continues to draw many positive comments and I thank those parents who ensure their daughter is in the correct uniform each day.  After half term we will continue to have a strong focus on it and will be contacting parents should there be any problems.
Next Half Term
The last half term of the year starts on Monday 1st June at the usual registration time of 8.35am.
