Year 9 German Competition
Year 9 German Students at CHSG are invited to take part in " The BGA (British German Association) Deakin Youthbridge Award For Excellence in German".
Each project should be in German and on a topic concerning Germany. It might, for instance, explain your interest in or relationship to Germany, its culture (in the broadest sense of the word) or language. But it could equally be about one aspect: for instance, an artist, German music, traditions, history, sport, food or travel.
The project could be an essay, or it could be something quite different:
- filmed interviews,
- voice overs,
- comic strip,
- a Powerpoint presentation,
The winners will be chosen by Mrs Lacey, in discussion with Mrs Pigott and Mr Castro, taking into account:
- Your enthusiasm for and ability in the German language
- The quality of your project
- Your ability to motivate others to take up/learn German and develop an interest in Germany
The deadline: please submit your finished work by Mon 1st July
You work must be passed to Mrs Lacey, by email: firstname.lastname@example.org or in person: Room B6
