How is the course structured?

Students follow the AQA syllabus at both GCSE and A Level. There are two exams for GCSE, Paper 1 and Paper 2, taken at the end of Year 11.

What do students study?

This course will raise students' knowledge and awareness of the world around them and enable them to understand different explanations put forward for why our society is as it is. There is a strong theoretical element and students are encouraged to become more informed on our societal processes and government policies.
