Carshalton High School for Girls

Carshalton High School for Girls is a highly successful school, judged by Ofsted in January 2023 as ‘Good’ in all categories.

National Online Safety

As part of National Children's Mental Health Week we have held events throughout the school to highlight the importance of being alert and remaining safe whilst online.

As part of our drive to keep students safe we have invested in, and are working very closely with, a company called National Online Safety (NOS). All our staff have undertaken training and are now certified in monitoring, recognising and being aware of the risks young people face when using social media and online platforms.

One of the products available from NOS is information and training for parents, helping to keep them informed and up-to-date with the latest material about using media and guidance on how to react should an incident arise.

The link below will take you directly to the sign-up page for our school, where you can register for free.  When you register you need to select ‘parent’ and you can access “the world’s most comprehensive online safety app, packed with insightful courses, explainer videos, webinars and weekly guides on topics that will help you protect the kids you care about when they’re online.”

They also have an app that can be downloaded if you have a smartphone.  Once you have registered you can log into the app (using the same details you registered with) via the link below.
