Parent Governor Vacancy
The CHSG governing body has a vacancy for a Parent Governor.
Parent participation in the decision making, processes and oversight of the school are essential for its fair and proper operation.
All new Governors undertake an induction process which helps give a better understanding of the school, education in general as well as providing the support required to be effective in the role.
Our expectation is that you would become an integral part of the school community, so apart from attending the 4 LGB meetings each year, we would expect that you are a regular visitor to the school (at least 1 visit per term) by supporting the staff and raising the profile of the LGB within the school. You may also be invited to attend Committee meeting of the Girls Learning Trust as well as sub committees on the LGB, this could be upwards of 5-6 additional meetings per year.
