CHSG PFA

Welcome to the PFA section! PFA stands for Parents and Friends Association and we are a group of people who volunteer our time and energy to benefit our daughter’s education at CSHG!

You are probably already aware that the role of a PFA is to raise money in order to purchase items that will benefit the school pupils. That’s just one of the aims of this PFA, and we organise several social events each year and provide refreshments at many school events in order to do this.

We are much more than just a fund-raising organisation, though. We are very aware of the big difference between being a Junior school and High school parent - we’ve all been through it! -and how hard it can be to feel connected in a school with 1200 students and over 60 staff.

That’s why one of our other roles is to provide a link between parents and the school, and to help parents feel part of the school community.

We invite you to become part of this vital and active group. It gives you as a parent an opportunity to contribute to the life of the school community and to feel involved in your daughter’s education.
