Carshalton High School for Girls is a highly successful school, judged by Ofsted in March 2014 as ‘Good’ in all categories.

We are an inclusive learning community that puts excellence, achievement, respect and care at the heart of everything we do.  These principles are reflected in our core values of Community, Harmony, Success and Growth.

  • In September a group of Year 12 and 13 students studying Spanish went to see Acantilado (The Cliff), part of the Spanish Film Festival in London. 

  • Students are invited to a Haloween event at Film Club on Monday 31st October 4.00-6.00pm in the LRC.

  • British Values Week at CHSG is the week beginning 17th October.

  • Congratulations to the Year 10 students who have been selected to participate in the Sorrell Foundations Saturday School Club for Art. 

  • Students in Year 11 are being encouraged to purchase a revision guide for the new GCSE course in English Language and English Literature.

  • BBC News School Report gives 11-16 year-old students around the UK the chance to make their own news reports for a real audience. It also involves BBC staff sharing their skills with students.

  • Students and staff are invited to take part in a mufti day on Friday 21st October as part of the CHSG fundraising programme.

  • During the week commencing 17th October students at CHSG will be considering what it means to be British.

  • CHSG students have been invited to take part in a weekly quiz about British Values.
