Welcome to the Carshalton High School for Girls website.  Thank you for your interest in our school.

Carshalton High School for Girls is a highly successful school, judged by Ofsted in March 2014 as ‘Good’ in all categories.

We are an inclusive learning community that puts excellence, achievement, respect and care at the heart of everything we do.  These principles are reflected in our core values of Community, Harmony, Success and Growth.

    Latest News and Events

    • On Friday 3rd October, Geographers from Year 10 went on a glorious trip to Hastings Beach as part of our GCSE coursework. 

    • Year 7, 8 and 9 students who have shown great dedication to the netball team have been invited to attend the PGL Junior Netball residential 2 night Tournament and Activity weekend at Liddington in Wiltshire.

    • Like Art? Here's a great competition for you!

    • Students are invited to write a piece of poetry around the theme of 'Equality' in a House competition.

    • A large pumpkin has been donated by Mrs Huie in the Finance Office to be used for a Haloween Competition.

    • In celebration of Black History Month students will be presenting a fashion and food show on Friday 24th October.

    • On the 21st October selected students from Year 12 and 13 will be invited to a movie afternoon with an abundance of treats as reward for their positive work and excellent attendance in this first half term 

    • Head of Roddick House, Miss Golightly, informed the students of Roddick House about the history of Roddick House and introduced the House motto and House charity. 

    • Head of Pankhurst House, Miss Minto, informed the students of Pankhurst House about this year's aims and events and invited them to lead the way in new events, competitions and fundraising.

    • Ex student Lois Turner has returned to Carshalton High School for Girls to the Learning Support Department as part of her Merton College work placement.
