Business & Economics Year 9
Business and Economics is a new GCSE for Year 9 students so it is a new challenge. However business and economics are all around us so students will already have come across many of the areas covered in the course.
We welcome all students into the business area who are keen to find out more about the world around them. We would however stress that it is a challenging subject and would be best suited to those students who enjoy solving problems and using their research skills.
What is studied on the course?
In year 9 students study 3 topics from the Business Unit. There will be end of topic tests but no GCSE paper in year 9.
