Revision Arrangements - Year 13
As we enter this period of the summer exams, we are very conscious of the need to allow students the time to revise for their final exams. Year 13 study leave will begin after Friday 1st June.
BTEC subjects will continue until their deadlines. Students who take a mix of BTEC and AS subjects must still come in to complete BTEC work during her study leave.
Any Year 13 students currently studying AS courses and continuing to study A2 courses should be back in for these lessons after their last A2 exam. They will not need to attend registration but will register with Mrs Mellish (the school’s Attendance Officer) and should follow the usual signing out procedure.
We hope that this leave will allow students the necessary time they need to continue with their revision. This is the final hurdle for many students to ensure that they achieve the grades they need for their next step. Students must ensure that they plan their time and make the best use of it whilst ensuring they get enough rest.
I wish all our students the very best of luck at this time. We have absolute faith, that with hard work they will achieve what they are capable of.
Results day is the 16th August and students will be able to collect results from 9.30am in the hall. If Students are unable to collect their results on this day they should write a letter that authorises a friend to collect results. Alternatively, they can speak to Mrs Emmings (our exams officer) to organise postage.
If you have any further questions please contact any of the Sixth Form Team.
