Chance to Dance
The past few months have been extremely hectic for Dance with competitions, projects and of course the annual dance show Chance to Dance.
The BTEC Year 12 and 13 classes were responsible for the organisation of this year’s show and now realise that what seems to be an easy job is in fact the hardest job ever! Hard work coupled with nagging and tearing their hair out eventually meant however that another brilliant show was produced. This year saw performances from our street dance crews, our partnership with Sutton Dance Academy and the Royal Academy of Dance. Also performed were dances which included students from Years 7 – 13. Some dances went through the audition process whilst others were included to represent exceptional class work. It was a fantastic evening that allowed all of our students who took part to showcase their creative and technical ability through a variety of dance styles.
Aren’t we lucky to have so many incredibly talented students!
