SCIENCE CAREERS EVENING – WEDNESDAY 3rd OCTOBER 2012
The Science Department is hosting a Science Careers Evening on Wednesday 3rd October in order to inspire and enthuse the students who are considering a career in science.
The evening would be set up in the style of speed dating, enabling students in Years 8, 11 and 12 the opportunity to talk to professionals in science jobs on a one-to-one basis for a short period of time.
We are organising for some Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) ambassadors to come in but are really keen to ask our parents and carers (or friends/relatives), if you have a science based job, to share your experience and knowledge with the students.

CAREERS FAIR – THURSDAY 7th March 2013
The school is also organising a General Careers Evening in order to inform students from Years 8 to Year 12 of the variety of careers available and give them the opportunity to hear from those actually in those roles.

The evening would be organised into four different session times and students would sign up for 2 or 3 sessions.
