Learning Skills Day - Technology Faculty
To celebrate the two great events of the Queens Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympics, for this year’s Learning Skills Day, Year 7 students are going to partake in Jubilympics, on Thursday the 21st of June!
During the Jubilympics, students will get to make fizzing bath bombs or decorative bunting. The students will also get to design the packing for their products on computer before printing and assembling the packing. Finally, students will get to flex their entrepreneurial brains by costing their products by designing a spreadsheet model and presenting their products to their groups
First step - Learning Skills Day; next step - The Apprentice!
This promises to be a fun filled day of activities for all. The students will take away new skills, and the satisfaction of taking something home of their own making.
