Citizenship Charity Fair - 4th May
4th May is the Year 9 Charity Fair at lunchtime in the Hall. Groups will have stalls and will be selling many things including lots of food, drinks and charity merchandise.
In Citizenship lessons Year 9 students have been working in groups to raise awareness and money for a local charity. They have had to raise money both outside and inside school.
Each group will make a presentation about their charity and fundraising to their Citizenship class and the best go on to a competition called the Youth Philanthropy Initiative. This takes place on the evening of 19th June with the winner raising £3000 for their charity.
We hope students will support this event by spending lots of money on 4th May!
