Students in Years 7 and 8 take examinations in most of their subjects during the weeks 30^th April – 11^th May.  Students will record the dates and times of exams in their student planners.

 

Exams will take place during lesson time in classrooms, but as far as possible we follow procedures set down by Examination Boards.  This gives students good practice for Public Examinations.  Parents are asked to supports students by ensuring that they revise and prepare for examinations in a manner appropriate for the year group.

 

Students will be told their exam results verbally by their teachers; parents will receive the results in the final report of the year (after half term).

 

It is very important that students attends school during the examination weeks.  However, if a student is absent during the exam times teachers will try to arrange for absentees to sit the exam in the next lesson.
