Seville Trip
A trip to Seville, Spain will depart school at 3 am on Thursday 9th February 2012. Students will spend 5 days enjoying the culture of Spain before returning on Monday 13th February. Following the flight from Gatwick airport students and staff will arrive in Malaga in time for lunch. There is a packed itinerary to follow! During the first evening there will be a flamenco show. Day 2 will be spent at La Alhambra, Granada followed by sightseeing in Sevilla: Plaza de Espana the following day. Whilst in Sevilla student will be ale to experience a horse and carriage ride around the Parque Maria Luisa, Plaza de Toros and along the River Guiadalquivir. There will be more dancing during the evening of Day 3, but this time of the disco kind!
During Day 4 there is a trip to La Giralda, tower of Seville Cathedral and Real Alcazar Palace followed by a tapas dinner in a local restaurant.
On Day 5 the student and staff will have time for some shopping before a prize giving event to recognise the language work the students have produced during their stay. The flight from Malaga airport should depart at approximately 9.45 pm arriving at Gatwick at approximately 11.35 pm. The journey back to school should take about one hour. These times and arrangements may be subject to change.
