'Step Into the NHS' Competition
Students in Years 8 and 9 are invited to take part in this exciting competition by creating a range of recruitment materials which appeal to young people of their own age group.
The competition supports the non-statutory framework for careers and education and there are also strong links to the curricula for PSHE, Citizenship and English.
The competition has been developed by the NHS Careers and the focus is on the wide range of roles available in the NHS. This project will help young people to understand that there is so much more to working for the NHS than being a doctor or a nurse.
Entrants must submit two items: these can either be an advertisement and CV of the ideal candidate for a specific job role in the NHS or an Advertisement and a job description.
Entrants can work as individuals or as a group (maximum of 4)
Entries must be recieved by 27th January 2012
