H&SC Visit to Kingston University

A group of Year 11 and Year 12 students studying Health & Social Care will visit the Frank Lampi Centre at Kingston University on 6th March as part of the 'Aim Higher' project.

The purpose of this day is to introduce students to a typical day at university within the Health and Social Care undergraduate programme. Students will attend a key lecture, discuss nursing /clinical skills and have the opportunity to speak to student ambassadors already on these courses.  There will also be the opportunity to meet the staff and discuss the courses available.

This is an excellent opportunity for students to sample a Health and Social Care taster day at Kingston University, especially if they are interested in careers to do with child care, nursing and social work as an example.

Students will meet Mrs Greenland, Party Leader, at 9:50 am at the Kingston Hill Campus.  Year 12 students will accompany Year 11 students travelling by bus, to the Campus.  The university would prefer students to bring a packed lunch but snacks and drinks can be purchased. The day concludes at 3 pm and students will be dismissed from the university to make their own way home.
