Ski Trip 2013 - Last Call!
Last call for students in Years 7, 8, 9, 11 and 12 interested in applying for a place on the 2013 ski trip to Austria!
We are hoping to continue running the annual ski trip to Austria. It will be with the same company that we have used for the past 10 years. Currently, we are looking at St Johann in Tyrol for Easter in 2013.
The estimated cost is £745 - £795, depending on which resort and hotel we choose, and on the number of students. Whichever option we choose, the cost will include:
- return coach travel
- insurance
- 6 nights’ accommodation with all meals in resort
- 6 x 4 hours/day ski instruction
- hire of skis, boots and helmet
- lift pass
- après ski activities
- services of a resort representative with 24 hour emergency cover
The company has reduced the initial deposit for us to £50. Additionally, there will be a £20 discount on the total cost for any places that we can confirm by the end of term.
If you would like your daughter to be included in the trip, please send in your deposit of £50 to the Finance Office immediately. The payment should be made in a sealed envelope with the following information clearly written on the outside: daughter’s name; tutor group; amount enclosed and 2013 Ski Trip. Cheques should be made payable to 'CHSG School Journey'.
Your daughter’s inclusion in the party is dependent upon her continued good behaviour and management of academic commitments in school.
Ms B Petty will be the Trip Leader and will contact you as soon as we know that we have sufficient numbers to run the trip. If your daughter can be included on the trip, a second deposit of £80 will be required in January 2012. Once paid to the company, the deposits are non-refundable.
