Sports Ambassadors Visit Green Wrythe Primary School
On Wednesday 18th April two of our Sports Ambassadors, Taylor 12TH and Bernie 12TH accompanied the School Games Co-ordinator to Green Wrythe Primary School to deliver an assembly on the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics to Year 4,5 and 6 children and their class teachers. The presentation has also been delivered last term by these girls along with Shannon 12KL, the other Sports Ambassador, in assemblies at Carshalton High School for Girls.
The aim is to promote interest in the event and to inspire children, young people and adults to be involved in sport and in particular our visit to Green Wrythe Primary School was to mark the 100 days until the Opening Ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics.
The girls spoke well at all the presentations and have added this experience to all they have learned during their time within their role representing our school.
Well done, girls!
