The Religious Studies Department
Religion is one of the most important forces shaping history, culture and personal experience and helps educate in skills of analysis, interpretation and comparison. The study of religion provides a solid grounding in the understanding of global and social issues, linked to citizenship in today’s world.
The Religious Studies department at Carshalton is a well-established and well-resourced department. Following statutory requirements, Religious Studies is taught through a multi-faith approach with schemes of work based on the Sutton Agreed Syllabus.

- Religious Studies GCSE Short Course
- Religious Studies GCSE Full Course
- Religious Studies AS/A2
