Young Art Competition for Cancer Research
Young Art is a project to help raise money for Cancer Research - last year it raised £72, 000!
The competition this year is called 'My London' and students have been asked to produce a piece of Artwork in response to this using Oil Pastel, Watercolour, Acrylic, Crayon, Pencil or Ink (No collage, computer generated art and no writing on the picture).
One piece of work should be handed in per student that would like to take part, with £1 and all donations will go to Cancer research UK.
The age groups for entries are 11-13, 14-15, and 16-17. We need to have at least 10 entries per age group in order to enter so the more we can enter the better!
All entries will get the opportunity to have work exhibited at The Royal College of Art. The pictures in exhibition will be on sale during the exhibition in aid of Cancer Research UK (except for coursework which will be clearly labelled not for sale).
All entries should have their full name in capital letters, their house name and colour and date of birth written on the back of their work.
ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY 13TH JANUARY.
