Dodgeball Fundraising
On 5th, 6th and 7th Decemeber 2011, Year 9 students raised money for The British Heart Foundation and funding for a school Basketball coach.
They raised over £200 through an inter-house dodgeball competition. It was a an exciting and fun competition which saw the Roddick House (Green) become the overall winners of the tournament.
As it was all for a good cause, the staff got involved and took on the winning house on Thursday 8th Decemeber, which saw the staff win the first game and students win the 2nd game.
A huge thanks to Ms Burke, Mr Mastrocola, Mr James, Miss S Lowe, Miss Gardner, Miss J Lowe, Miss Bevan, Mr James and Miss Kerruish for forming the staff team, even if we were out numbered a tad in the 2nd game!
It was a great competition for an excellent cause.
