Sixth Form Life Drawing
On Saturday 26th November, Miss Care and Miss Maxwell led a 6th form Life Drawing class.
The students arrived at 10am for a whole day of drawing and were taught how to measure up and draw the human form accurately. Students were given a variety of media to work with and encouraged to work on a range of scales to create a diverse range of work throughout the day. The students all worked really hard and were extremely mature in the workshop. All students built up a number of artworks to go into their portfolios towards their coursework entries for AS.
Life drawing is very important for Art students to go on to further education within the arts, it is also a great opportunity to learn how to draw the human form accurately.
We were very proud of the students and of the work that they produced - Well done!
