The Big Draw 2011
The Big Draw is a National annual initiative to get people drawing! This year Carshalton High School for Girls will be holding their 3rd Big Draw event! This year the theme is 'Drawing Age' and included in this is 'Fantastic Creatures' which we will be focusing on.
Fantastic creatures is inspired by Eric Carle's The Artist who painted a Blue Horse "I am an artist…" begins Eric Carle's vibrant tribute to the creative life. And just like an imaginative child, this is one artist who paints the world as he sees it-a red crocodile, an orange elephant, a purple fox, a black polar bear, and a wonderful polka-dotted donkey."
The drawing event will be taking place in the hall at lunchtime on Friday 14th October. Students in all year groups are invited to come and complete an A6 drawing. Each student can enter a drawing with their name, form and house written on the back and earn house points!
