Calling Year 8 Students for Rivers of the World Project!
We have been lucky enough to be selected out of 15 schools nationally to take part in this fantastic International project. CHSG will be working with a school in Dubai on a project based around Rivers both in the UK and in Dubai.
Year 8 students will be given the opportunity to work with a well-known artist for three half day workshops, go on a visit to the River Thames, Participate in the London Mayor's 2012 Thames Festival and design and produce artwork for public display in the Oxo Tower, on the Thames by Tower Bridge and in Dubai!
Students will gain a certificate and a published book from this fantastic opportuntiy! However places are limited and students will need to be committed, excited and willing to work hard creatively! The club will take one lunchtime a week at first, and one after school session later.
